Will the engine support somme kind of culling? ( Oclussion Culling,Frustum, etc )
What about LOD or CLOD?
Will the engine support .X .FBX media?
What about mid or large Terrains?
The shadows, it will be real soft stencil shadows or Shadow mapping based on a shadow volume? All the objets in the scene will be affected by shadows?
And the lights? What kind of lights we will see? Spots, Directional, Point, etc...?

soft stencil,and for the other question i can only assume but i think so

It will suport X.
As for terrains....uhm terrains? (you could model it yourself)
Nope it will have the same grid as FPSC v9.
Shadows...already answered.
Lights.....just like FPSC v9.
But you could easily fake a directional spot.
Wizard of id once showed it.
