Three days Grace.
MCR.
Sum 41.
Linkin Park.
etc.

Impossible? Anything is impossible. Of course it's impossible, you just have to believe in it.

Ooh, Eevil, you don't want to be admitting something like that on the net where just anyone could find out... That could be held against you in later life

OK Sum 41 is actually the worst band on there in my opinion - Linkin Park are pretty good, 3 days grace and MCR have had their moments, but sum 41 never really got me...

but that's just an opinion

anyway you don't want to be listening to me, I like All Shall Perish and Prostitute Disfigurement (the band, not the hobby...)

Radiohead, although my avatar and 2+ years of talking about them on TGC sort of gives that away lol.

That's possibly because I'm not sure if it's actually technically a word

But basically I meant that every song sounds pretty much identical. There's so little variation. I like the songs on their own sometimes, but I can't even get to the third track on one of their CDs before I get bored. Opeth have more variation in one of their songs than Dragonforce do on an entire album.

That's what I meant by samey

Currently on my mp3 I have their 5 tracks and I'm not bored of them... And it doesn't stopped AC/DC from becaming a legend...

AC/DC at least varied their tempos, and were easy to groove to because it's good old hard rockin' blues--it's allowed to be repetitive. Dragonforce flies by too quickly to hear anything interesting. But AC/DC has such diversity as Hell's Bells, Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell, Beatin' around the Bush, and You Shook Me All Night Long, each with a distinctly different tune. I swear I hear the same vocal lines repeated in the same style on several songs on Inhuman Rampage--it has really just one song that shakes things up. Don't get me wrong, it's fun stuff to listen to, but I too can't listen to them for long.

I'm obsessed with Herbie Hancock at the moment. I'm going to see him in downtown Phoenix next Friday. . . with 3rd row seats.

There's a lot of music that I like: Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Styx, Queen, Weather Report, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, The Brecker Brothers, Dave Matthews...and Matt'll be happy to know I'm slowly easing into Radiohead.

I love reggae and dancehall!
I have soooo many favorites:
Sizzla Kalonji, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Jigsy King, Beenie Man, Terror Fabulous... the list just goes on

I don't know why, because I didn't know anyone who turned me onto it and I grew up listening to rock, but I just decided to listen to some one day and fell in love with it. Been about 5yrs now, and I have a huge collection of music.

btw.. first reggae song I ever heard: "All Out" by "Jigsy King", oldschool

Linkin Park is my favourite band. =D

My other favourite artists are:

1. All powerful Lord Ludwig van Beethoven. [Moonlight Sonata - Adagio Sostenuto, Allegretto e Presto Agitato - is, with no slight shadow of doubt, my favourite music]
2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
3. Antônio Lúcio Vivaldi.
4. Holly Brook.
5. Norah Jones.
6. System of a Down.
7. ColdPlay.
8. The game music composers: Yoko Shimomura and Masami Ueda.

Forgive the spelling mistakes. It is 2:00 here. I just came back from the fake lights of the streets, and I am slightly.. tired.

Saudações cordiais.
