Hi I'm currently looking for a way to create my own galaxy texture I've searched all over for photoshop tutorials but I can't seam to find a decent one so If anyone would be so kind to redirect me or to give me some homemade tutorial, or even a tool I would be very apreciated! thanks in advance

Galaxy you say? Hmm I can make stars in Paint.net but not galaxies.

Use a soft, scattered soft orange brush and create the main structure. Use darken and lighten layers to highlight and shadow it and later on start to add colors.

you could always use random dots spread throughout your screen, thats what I do for space, its small and efficient and gives an easy effect.
