Yeah it looks sweet, 32 multi player with no friend codes and constant 60 fps with sweet graphics is an instabuy. And I don't own a psp.

@Dazzag

I think Monaros are a touch faster than my motor. Official listing for the VXR is 4.9 sec 0-60, and the VXR500s (500bhp!) are a touch quicker again. They're also more savage. My car is great at keeping you alive, and Monaros are great at killing you suddenly with vicious oversteer into a tree. The 6 litre V8 sounds quality though, but the fuel consumption is horrific.

Realistically, I won't do it tho. I would like to try out other cars, like a Supra and Monaro and Scooby, but it's an expensive business. 2006 Monaros are still £24k! I could get an R34 Skyline for that kinda money, and it'd be in similar condition since the imports have so little millage on them. I've put a lot into the GTR already tho, so I intend to keep it for a while to maximize my investment. Think I'm gonna get a second car too, to bring the milage down and save some money. Something crappy and old and rusted and dented for < £1500 so I can rag that about and leave it anywhere, and not worry about it. Skyline for commuting and pleasure driving, and the banger for driving long distances, going to the supermarket and parking in the hood.

Still adore those cars. For all the fun that was the Scooby, I still wish I had got a Supra. I was totally sold on the test drive, but my head ruled my heart especially when I found the insurance was more than double on the TT Supra. Wouldn't care about handling or performance (although Supra is nothing to be sneezed at especially with 4.9 0-60 for manual TT Supra), but that car had looks by the bucketload. Toyota were morons for dropping it (look at their current boring range of cars), but import last made 2002 models still look the dogs.

That'll teach you for having a name about the same length and starting with the same letter and having a MOD image!

@Dazzag

They are cracking cars. I had a spin in one when I was test driving the skyline. The Supra looks nicer, and with the little traction control button, you can powerslide it like a nut job when you switch it off. I saw one a few days after I got the GTR and it was so bright and sparkly and blinging, it looked amazing.

However, the interior in them does look quite dated (on the older models especially), and you can't even fit a stickman in the back. The '96 R33 GTR still looks decent today inside, and I can fit two 6' mates in the back with plenty of leg room. Plus, there is a certain legendary factor associated with Skylines that I wanted to be part of.

I still think the Supra would've definitely been more of a head turner and had more babe magnetism, but ultimately they have to look at your face anyway. So I'm happy with my choice. ~Also, I'm pretty sure the safety features of the skyline have saved my life at least once already.

Well as this thread has degraded into talking about cars I think I should add my own touch to it. Maybe we should talk about what we would theoretically buy other forum members here if we actually cared about them and could afford it. If satire is not your cup of tea then look away now.

Raven - A reinforced wall to talk to.
Richard Davey - A gameboy processor so he can upgrade the forum server.
tha_rami - A therapist for when he forgets who he is again.
Digital Awakening - Triangle Hero for the PS3.
Benjamin - A forum thread worth reading.
Fallout - A voucher for funnyland.
Jeku - An EA fanclub subscription.
Dark coder - Some cow dung to patch the holes in his roof.

The above post content is written purely for humorous values, do not take any of it literally. All characters portrayed in this production are purely fictitious and bear no resemblance to people living or dead.

Where's the fun in that! I want munehs (I'm saving for a new PC) and I may buy myself a steering wheel for my 360, see if it gets me playing forza again.

I've got my bro guitar hero 3 (with the wireless guitar) for christmas, haven't got anyone else anything yet, and to be quite honest GH3 is for me but if I give it him for christmas I look good :p.

Don't really care about the inside. Scoobies suck big style for that sort of thing. But the Supra is sheer gorgeous car. One of the only cars on Fast and Furious movies that looks better in real life if you ask me. Best thing about the inside is the way it wraps around the driver. Awesome. Pretty low, but I'm used to lower cars so no big deal (once you adjust your spine). Back seats? Good excuse to give no lifts Has one massive drawback if you get my drift... And anyway, I don't even have back seats now...

Heh, and for Raven we need to get a new much larger hard drive for TGC forums

Raven: A parrot - well you know why, look at other Raven suggestions as to why he needs a parrot

Jordan: The latest Nancy Drew books
Aikicat: Benjamin, so he can have friend cat to accompany him
Jeku: A promotion to Emperor of EA
JessT: A haircut, because his dreads are better than mine, so I'm jealous
Fallout: A book of the 100 greatest jokes, with his picture on the front cover

Dazzag: A quadruple lifetimes supply of beer because we know he'll enjoy himself with that for about a week
Grandma: A foxy Grandpa
Zombie20: Some brains
Cattle Rustler: Veal from his favourite and cutest calf
Nancy DrewG: An invisible friend

Firstly you got the name wrong. Secondly, what the heck is a hoover aside from a vacuum cleaner. And if you are implying a vacuum cleaner, what sort of connection does it have to Darth Tater? Hmm. Wait. I think I might know now. Is it because Darth Vader (Tater) breathes with the air filtration system and makes a funny noise? That has to be it. Hmmm, if you can find a purple one Darth Tater would be most pleased and won't have to use the Dark Side of the force on Benjamin furry little throat.
