I thought many times before joinning this contest .. I don't know anything about 3D .. I even know nothing about scripting .. Until I decided to know some 3D basics form a 3D designer freind for me .. and ask about scripting ( Thanks for plystirE ) Then I took the decision to join this


contest ...


My Game title is " Letters Kingdom "

The idea is new FPNS First Person Non-Shooter Game

Learn Play and have fun ..


Search for the Alphabetial letters in the whole island.

No of course not all of this but I've bought a nice 3D pack then I've converted to use in FPSC ...

Later I will post some work that my friend helped me with ...

now did u like it ? aren't you waiting for the game ? I will try -if i have more time - to make a testing level ..

Nice lookin game there, Techno.

I think Dr Parsnips is asking about what kinda things will you be shooting in this game. There don't seem to be any enemies in the screen shots so it is a little confusing.

I like the concept, it's very original! I wish you luck completing this in time for the contest.

As I've written in the beginning I was going to make only a puzzle game .. then my friends didn't like the game to be that kind of only First Person Puzzle not shooting .. so I decided to add enemies .. currently this step is under development with a 3D designer friend as I don't know that much about 3D ...

That last house reminds me of the Hobbit homes in Lord of the Rings, lol.

You know Plysti I'd like to change the game title ... to " Letters Kingdom "

The player will fall in a Fantasy Kingdom of Letters .. He will search and collect for the whole letters set during 4 levels ..

The player will face a lot of tricks and so .. first there was no enemies until i decided to create special character here is a screenshot for below ...

I love this of course.
Your textures look a little low res and it would greatly improve the appearance of your game if you were to increase them.
I would like to see a couple of screenshots with lighting.

You can use 1024x1024 textures in fpsc now bro'

Also if you are going to introduce fighting into your game what do you intend to use for weapons?

hmm regarding the weapons .. I didn't decide yet .. but I guess Fantasy weapons for this game will be an axe a spear and a sword ...

The point that I'm having some trouble exporting the character to FPSC till now I 've shown in the thread above

the models look very simlear to the models in this game (suspect)but you do say that it is a 3d package (less suspect but thought i would show you this game anyway)

Oooh It's really my first time i see this game and even this website.

You're right they're the same models even the whole same products for the 3D pack provider I'm using becuase all contents are from the same place ...

but this doesn't mean that I've stolen the objects .. as I said before this is a 3D pack for sale and not even me only who bought it ..

and he used the scenes exactly as he bought .. for me I'm using only stand alone objects .. this might be another different point ...

It was a little bit hard too to convert every item to be compatible with FPSC proportions ...

But anyway thank you for you comment and you're welcome back to check the game progress

By the way not only this pack I'm using in the game .. I have some created objects for the game you can check the Frog Character ...

this is done from scratch by a friend who works in 3D field

Look at the frog ..

Isn't it beautiful ? Wish me luck .. I'm having trouble to fit it in the game

May be because the game has too basic textures .. but I will try to enhance If I have time of course I am waiting for my friend to finish exporting character ...

You know Fluffy .. I was going to make this Cartoon style for only kids to learn ... then I've added a lot of tricks so that both kids can learn and older poeple can have fun ..

I'm planning to make several changes to support different languages other than English .. comme la langue Française ( French ) Deutch (German) and even (Arabic) any extra language can be easily added then

for example I'll add special french letters such as : é, è, ô, ç etc and for german .. ï and other special characters as i don't know a lot of german so i don't know the whole list of characters
of course people from this forum can help me

WOW dude belive it or not, I'm working on a game like this for my frinds at school. But mine is really bloody. Why don't you ad a bunny with a high powered sniper or, a teddybear with a shotgun. Now I'd be all over that game. Not that I won't be playing you game.

Now All please .. I was planning to make a fourth level from the castle inside I've used a handmade segment .. it looks so bad so I'm asking if i shall continue the game in outdoor mode only or shall i make an indoor level .. I will try to wait for your votings for the next two days ..

well if you can't draw textures you could use photos for walls it's what I do you can get photos of wall textures at this website http://mayang.com/textures/
and use gimp a free art tool to edit them. But if you want to just make the game outside that’s cool be always make sure the frame rate doesn’t drop to much

Those textures are somehow realistic but mine is a little bit cartoon style textures .. so I've edited one of the textures I've had and re-organised to be used in Level four inside the castle

Soon I'll dispatch Mr. Froggy in-Game action using the AK47 as u was requesting :-p
