Hey everyone. There has been a few competitions starting up or restarting and I decided to get in on the fun. This competition is all about creating non-shooter first person games. They can fall into basically any category as long as there is no shooting, etc.

Rules:
-only one level
-must follow a basic story
-no shooting
-no more than 10 stories in height
-custom media is acceptable (and advised)
-you are allowed to have dangers and enemies, they can't shoot you
-not only kids games, just no killing. See the silent depths example.

Starting date is now
Ending date is January10 23:59

Valid entries:

Prizes for top three:
-any futurefps models pack (x3)

Automatic prizes to #1 winner:
-Kingdom Over the hill (when finished)

Prizes to all who enter a valid entry:
-darimc's mini segment pack.

Judges:

-TJR Games
-Drapes#10
-BIG Viking Games
-bobert

You will be marked out of 10 on:
-level design
-entity placement
-lighting
-frame rate
-extras (custom media, segments, etc.)

You can use weapons but not to kill, but to smash stuff, etc.

You should make entities to be able to be picked up and smash stuff, that doesn't count as a weapon.

lol! My game is everything but peace, love, flowers and buterflies and still its an example

darimc, I could be a judge if I get my computer fixed.

And I think you should add feeling to the things that should be judged, a fp game without feeling is not a fp game
Maybe I could add Silent Depths Collectors edition to the prizelist, but only if my computer start to work.

Oh, in that case, that would be extras. Extras are media, segments, music, cover, custom graphics, intriguing story, etc.

I meant like in a game for children, maybe there will be feelings as "what a cute city, I want to live there" or in a horror game "What was tha noise?
