I've got a question. Is it possible to change the water such that it cannot be seen, doesn't make things float and does not hamper the player's movement? I think that this would be interesting for scenes with "hull breaches" (Like in Doom 3). If it's not possible, could I use a "hurt zone" or "trigger zone" to make the player lose oxygen in the "depressurized area"? I was just wondering.

Another thing, that has now come up since I have the program... Can you have allies climb stairs?

It's easy, and you wouldn't do it with water.

There's a command called "plraddair=x", similar to "plraddhealth=x". To take away air, you would say, for instance, "plraddair=-1", so everytime the script passes that state, it takes away one unit of air. This is exactly what a hurt zone does for health. You would just add the script to a trigger zone that covers the area you need to be unbreathable, and voila, you're done.

Here's the script you'd need.

Quote: "This reminds me of another thing, people who wanted ingame 'money' had to script to use their health as it was the only variable, well, now that you have air, if you make your game without water, or not deep enough to go under, then you've got yourself the extra variable to act as money."

Ahhh, but you don't need to do that. FPSCX10 has a score system built in so you can use that as money.

There is no Condition listed for the SCORE in the Manual.
Where is it on the Conditions/Actions list?
It isn't any good if we cannot read or manipulate it in the FPI scripts.

Unless the QUANTITY Condition is now representing the SCORE total.

Thats a pretty awsome idea...

Is there a way to make the acreen "fog" aswell, someway to slightly distort the image the player sees to add to the effect?

Thanx
