wow i dont know where to start!! i am completely new to this kind of thing but after extensive reading on these forums and finding all you knowledgeable people out there, fpsc x10 looks like a good thing to get into!!

i ordered my copy online on wednesday night and it came in the post on friday morning!!

i am running it on this machine....
Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4800+ (running slightly overclocked @ 2.6ghz)
2GB DDR2 Ram
BFG Geforce 8800 GTX OC
Soundblaster X-FI platinum fatal1ty

well so far i have made a room with a door that opens and an enemy behind it!!! i was quite impressed!!! haha

any tips from any of you guys would be much appreciated

anyways.....see ya all around......this was just a little intro and i expect i will get to know ya all soon

You have all sorts of threads on the X10 board
of how X10 is so good, or what is wrong with it.
Why would that be allowed and this one not?



Well for tips...
Nothing special...same as the tips for X9..
Try to make some fun levels at first...
(i still do fun levels...like shooting enemies/allies with a bazooka or minigun.)

After that try to put some custom media in it...
(X10 is like a heaven for media designers)
landscapes, enemies, furniture, buildings ...etc...etc...

download firma 2.0 so you can make your own segments ( yes it is very 3asy ) also the x9 model packs are being converted to x10 so you could by those to use in ya'game

RSVRich, nice on getting your copy.

As for idea's I try to play the old games like Quake and Doom for idea's as their level designs can fall in that of FPS Creator X10

yeh you cant be social on these forums or have a sense of humor either , i got kicked off for 3 days for having a joke, by some mod who was a total geek ped with no brain.

not saying all mods are like that , but this one was deffo, he had a loaded gun and wanted to shoot everyone, i thnkhe was american.

not sure though

@Drapes#10, You had an argument until you opened your mouth again and proved why you were put in the corner for time out. You just can't help but put your foot in it, can you?

@RSVRich, welcome to the forums. As for tips, you're one of the leaders in the X10 arena for now. We're all just learning the basics at this point.

Aside from the new features, the basic FPSC rules and techniques apply when designing games, so be sure to read up on the X9 forums as well.

Drapes#10 is banned for 1 month for swearing in another thread and another 1 month for unsocial comments towards individuals in this thread.

IMAGE 02 is banned for 1 month for using offensive terms towards Moderators.

Other members please do not agrivate situations by responding to initial offensive post by commenting agressively or offensively yourself.
