Hm, sounds strange... I've had no such issues at all (have you tried running my demo project? That one uses both midiIn and midiOut to create a midiThru interface and still runs at a good ~70 constant FPS for me).
If it doesn't imply too many odd plugins, perhaps you could send me a compileable part of your code that has this problem (you have my e-mail adress)?

i have your email. Ill give it another shot first and see whats going on. Also i think my editor is done minus the keyboard recording part....

I think i will add in some wav tracks now and this thing should be good to go.

Edit: Oh and for the file format.... i think i will do something simular to the midi file format. This way it would be easier to read
