You fail. You fail at life. Your whole life was a mistake. You don't have anything worthwhile to do. You are a failure.
You bought Crysis, and no-one else did. You are alone.

NAH UH! I bought crysis, and it is by far the best first person shooter ever. Yes this includes all the halos and cod4 which I have played... Very long game too, crysis... but so amazing... out of the 12 or so games I got for cristmas, I still didnt open any of them yet! ah hahhahah! bwahahahah!

And you are jealous.. to say crysis sucks is like saying Michael Jackson was always caucasian.

It's a great game, but performance wasn't quite as good as I was hoping.

BUt it's still amazing none the less.

I tried the demo, I had to turn everything down just to run it on my computer. Guess I need to get a new one!

Fun game. For some reason the snow parts lag on my gts 320mb. So I think the snow shader might be more intensive or something of that sort. But when in the jungle the game goes lightening fast for me with shaders on high, post processing on very high, particles on very high, game effects on very high. Basicly, alot of stuff on very high and a few things set to high or medium. But very fun game. COD4 is somewhat better in my opinion though.

Crysis looks incredible... but it's not a good FPS... I found it quite boring and the bit in the cave was lame as was the ending... It ran almost perfectly on the new computer except for a few moments of severe slowdown...

Yeah it looks great, but a great looking game with nothing going for it in terms of story or multiplayer (it has multiplayer but its terrible) and the kind of rig you need to run it..no thanks.

Crysis was good. It had a nice story. It had intense shootouts. It had a nanosuit. But in the end, I felt that besides the jaw-dropping graphics... it had nothing special.

Jeez, the rig you need ain't that bad. It's just talking along with the 'bash Crysis 'cause its programmed to be durable'-media hype. One of my PC's is a few years old and it runs it at medium with only some slowdown in the most intense shootouts.

I played it for approximately 1 hour before I shut it down and played Call of Duty 4 instead (CoD4 is so much more thrilling). ^^

The graphics are just excellent, but it's some kind of boring.. at least at the beginning..

Maybe, some day, I'll just force myself to play it again and, maybe, have fun with it.

I got Crysis too - its not bad, but can be very irritating : Pop-up is very close; I tend to find that baddies just suddenly appear next to you; vechile control is poor (why couldn't they copy the control system from Halo); and those helicopters...

I loved crysis, but it was slow as snot on my computer, some times it would pause for 5 minutes at a time even when there where no shootouts, and it even shut down my computer 2 times!

gave me some $#!% about how my driver could not handle it...

Sorry, but it may look amazing and everything, But it's even more boring then the Halo series were! Its a hype, just like Bioshock was.

Delta Force Land Warrior had good co-op iirc, I played the demo for Delta Force 2 way back, but I was more of a console gamer then.

Played the demo for Crysis, based on that I have to agree it's not amazing in any way beyond the graphics. It was reasonably fun but nothing special.

I guess it's more to do with me, I haven't really enjoyed any FPS that much (with the exception of HL2 + episodes) since the original Perfect Dark.

Crysis is sort of a technical demo plus DX10 advertisement for Vista more than a FPS game. Its graphic core technique is based on DX9 but publicize as DX10.And it is not proficient in the technique so the performance didn't go very well even on the high-end PC.This game didn't develop on the basis of gamers' benefit and take more considering for Microsoft Vista profit. For example, very high setting can be triggered in WinXP after tweaking the configuration files.

No, I do not hate FPS games, I just dislike most of the ones created now. All their Cheesy and unnesecary(Spelling?) features, I liked the original Delta Force because it was straight to the point, you had to do what you had to do. Nothing complicated, just shoot to survive and plan stuff tactically when you saw a bunch of offroad cars speeding towards you.

These days its all for the action and the shooting, Most games do not have the tactical aspect anymore, and have health packs and whatever. I have like,"What the? So if I put bandage on my arm which is almost shot off, It will be instantly healed?" I know Doom didnt have this tactical aspect either, but it was and still is, a great game.

I have yet to see a more recent game which I like, I don't like just shooting the crap out of some enemy just for fun. I want to have a reason, And i want to actually have to plan how to attack them. Call Of Duty 2 was rather nice, but cheesy at some point. And I didn't like the fact that all that German signs were a little... Overused.

Crysis, is as TVB said, just an application to show off how "Awesome" Vista's graphics are. You know what, I rather play on only my atari for all my life, then having to play Crysis for one day.

Hence the fact I only got 3 friends, But alteast I know they are true friends. and not just the ones you have for a year and then never hear of them anymore.

Anyway, I have a rather... Harsh opinion on most games, As I just don't look at them as most people. I look at games like looking at art. You hate it or you love it.(In my case, I mostly just hate it)

Ah, here it goes then,

Maybe I am annoying, But i am not that Arrogant.(Atleast, no one ever told me I was. I just think different then most, Because I always lived in my own world. And didn't care for what happened outside, People would just bully me over and over again anyway) Annoying, I can find myself in that, I like to push the way I think of something underneath someone's nose. And i do not like stepping away from my opinion.

Well, thats a bit more of a proper repy

EDIT:

This was based upon this post,

story is awful and the fun factor doesn't last very long. best part was the graphics and physics. actual game play wasn't that great.

But how can you have a real opinion of a game you have never played, and claim never will?

Sometimes I do the same thing. I refused to play Call of Duty because, to me, it was just another Medal of Honour rip-off. I bought COD 2 with my 360 because it was the top of the launch games that all sucked, in my opinion. Anyways, I'm glad I bought it, as it was one of the best games I've played. Now COD 4 was a no-brainer and I bought that and fully enjoyed it too. Sometimes you can be surprised when you actually play a game--- you just might like it more than you'd think.

I said I saw someone playing it, and to me it looked like another "Smash the zombie" game. Which I find no fun at all. Hence the fact I have my opinion on that game. I don't say it sucks, Nor do i say its good. I just don't like the way it looks.

Crysis is so leet like OMG, my computer can barely handle it on lowest and it can handle every other game I own on highest. That includes QW COD4 and Q4. The single player is too short I mean 11 levels WTH?

Well that isn't a very good opinion then, sure in places like revenholm there are a lot of zombies, because guess what? It's a zombie level, plus the headcrabs(one of the easiest enemies) work by taking over people's bodies making them kinda like zombies but that doesn't mean most of the enemies in the game are, far from it. And how can you not like zombies?

Also I've not played the full version of Crysis(only the demo) and thought it would be a very good game, many games these days have short storylines so what do you expect? The main edge of the engine is that you can heavily mod it, and quite easily given the Sandbox 2 editor coming with it. So after a while you'll get countless amounts of mods, sure some may not be top quality but some will, they will almost be like free expansions to the game so quit complaining :p.

Well then really whats the point? Sure it looks good, but if it does not do anything but take up CPU and GPU time, then forget it, less is better.
