Weapon Creator shouldn't be adding any "dummys". Matter a fact if you've forgotten to place your "SMOKE" or "BRASS" bones where these things should be emulating from, you'll find yourself putting them in later for guns that need them( I realize sci fi wouldn't)

WC doesn't actually add anything to your mesh...It simply lets you see it the way the fpsc player does during import.

I use WIN3d from Rhinegold, which is a free converter to change x files to 3ds.

Hope ya get your weapons straightened out...I know my first weapon was a pain that I ended up dropping for others once I had this stuff figured out.

If your curious, I'd visit Errants forum for lots of discussions held on weapons.

the models are exported exactly the same way as my remote was.. However the remote was ported through WC, and the enemies carries it allright. Also when i ported it back into max it had 2 new dummies.. Axis and Axis2 one at the grabbing and one under the barrel, so it seems they referented to where the hands should be. but i dont know.

And still cant get the hands to use the seperate hands_d2.dds texture

1. Ok removed the effect and the textures works fine with hands
2. The bug with the enemies has been tracked down by a friend from msn

This pack will NOT feature hands.. if ppl would like to see these with hands, i would need someone to work with me on that aspect.

Sofar there are designed 12 weapons for this pack.

How much will this pack cost? I've been needing some good scifi weapons for a long time. These guns are just incredible!

Now THIS is what I'm talking about! Weapons that are good enough design-wise to be warranted.

I'm thinking maybe some type of LAN or glaive-type weapons could be very useful to develop.
