i edited the enditiy character dds fils and saved as a dds file with a number 2 on the end. i select the character and the number 2 file as the visual but nothing changes. what am i doing wrong - how do you change the characters appearances? i used paint.net to edit the dds files. also tried saving as tga and loading. no luck.

try renaming the original to something else then save the new texure as what the original name was, not sure if this will work or not but its worth a try

Shadow it will be a nightmare to get it back but what you need to do is save it somewhere else as blah blah_d2.dds Or then place it in entity bank or texture bank but make a new folder and then place it in then in FPSCreators editor right click on the entity you retextured and then click on under optional visuals click on texture then find and click your texture and wallah you have done it.

You might want to look at this thread. Several of us walked through changing textures and creating textures. It should work for characters as well as segments?
