Anyone happen to catch the fact that Forbes Magazine put Nvidia on the cover and called them Company Of The Year?

Seems to make TGCs alignment with them a good strategic choice.

Quote: "Our editors' choice for the company of the year: Nvidia (nasdaq: NVDA - news - people ). Co-founded by CEO Jen-Hsun Huang in 1993, the chip maker has gone on to regain the lead in the lucrative market for graphic processors aimed at hardcore gamers. Its annualized five-year results are impressive, too: sales growth of 15%, earnings per share of 36%. Over the same period, Nvidia shareholders profited from a 42% annualized total return. Nvidia is now racing to develop its next generation of chips as it faces new challenges fromIntel (nasdaq: INTL - news - people ) and Advanced Micro Devices (nyse: AMD - news - people )."

Could, but since there was a lot of discussion around X10 and Nvidia. Thought some folks here might be interested.

Mods can move if appropriate.

Well, if there was no Geek Culture, I'd put it here.

Yes I saw that Forbes cover too, and also immediately thought of TGC. I would say forming a partnership with Forbes magazines company of the year = awesome move.

When I went to get a new PC, and I noticed an Nvidia sticker on most of them. That made me feel better about the move. I've been an ATI guy, but I'm quite pleased with my 8800. I'm sure ATI and Intel will step it up soon.
