Zero, its worth it in the end. It's either upgrade now. Or upgrade when things get a little less expensive.(Which might take about a few months right now)

How long you spend in a forum has nothing to do with research. If you're hoping that someone somehow has the same setup as you and has already tried X10, the odds are slim. The specs are posted, anything short of that may work but will have limitations.
