Yes, I searched, and googled, and even asked jeeves, but where is a site that I can download Direct X 10. My graphics card is Direct X 10 capable it's just that I need to find a site to download Direct X 10.

Um... I can't find it on that website, I clicked on all the reasonable links and I never found the download. I downloaded something but still after that it didn't work.

Here is what the error says when I try to run the demo:

"The application has failed to start because d3dx10.dll was not found." I thought "d3dx10.dll" stood for "direct-3d-x10" but I could be wrong. And I also have a pretty big hunch also why it's not working... I'm not running windows vista (this is the demo, I thought it might've worked.)

No, you MUST run Vista to let it work.

Darn, I thought I maight've been able to play the demo so I knew if I should go out and buy a Vista computer.

I think it DX10 runs faster on Vista then on XP. DX9 runs faster on Vista for me too... Pretty funny actually.

Either way, DX10 is not officially supported for XP, so don't expect everything to work exactly like it should.

To run Direct X 10 you need Microsoft Vista. It will not run on XP, end of story. The Alky project has been around for over a year and have nothing to show for it. Don't get your hopes up. make the jump, buy vista.

Damn how about helping me? I got vista i search for direct x 10 but EVERY LINK ( sorry for caps ) takes me to a download page for the latest direct x ( version 9.21... and something like that ) not a download page for direct x 10 ... <-- Why???
