I found it to be quite playable though with room for some improvements. I'd suggest that to improve it you could make the asteroids split into two before they are destroyed (or split again after that). You would obviouslt need to make the asteroids bounce when they hit the walls to achieve this since the two asteroids produced after each large asteroid is destroyed would need to move in angled direction.

Also, I feel that the score bar seems somewhat large for the amount of information it contains - half the screen for one line of text. Prehaps by making it smaller you could incrase the playing area.

On a positive side the graphical backgrounds are excellent

Yeah, I noticed that the score bar was way to big, but then, I coundn't think of what to put in it. As for fx when you hit an astroid, maybe I'll add some later. Maybe . . .

Cool! I initially played it expecting to control a rotating ship, but I guess I was surprised. Nice Game.

I'm planning on making this a complete game later. If you have any suggetion of what would work good in the XL-scorebar, the would be appriciated. Maybe an inventory?

I like the idea, a lot different then the original! Things for improvement would be the obnoxiously big menu on the left and some powerups maybe? Good job though!
