Hi, I would like to know how the pros (or anyone here at The Game Creators Forum) make objects that break, and have physical forces applied to them, like gravity when a rock falls off a mountain (using DarkPhysics and/or DarkAI).

Also, could someone tell me a simple way to make good looking exposions for my games? How is it done?

Explosions - dunno. Use an animated image or something.

Breaking objects - Until we have the PHY MAKE CLOTH FROM OBJECT command if we don't already (haven't been here in a while), you'll just need to break it apart in your modeling program and replace the model after the object breaks.

Gravity - Dark Physics applies it automatically if the object is set up with the physics simulation, though you can turn it off with PHY SET RIGID BODY GRAVITY 0. I think.

Hope that helps. And sorry if that command is wrong, never really used it.
