The problem is that the liquid is not being created. I think my code is okay; am I right in thinking that liquids won't work unless users graphics cards support PhysX PPU? I thought there would be a backup plan that just uses extra CPU power to get the job done.

There's no software fluids... and the newest DLLs just say the object is missing I believe...

You could use particles to get a kind of fluid effect if you don't have the card...

Intel Pentium 4 3.40 Ghz HT, 1.5 GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce 6800, 19" Dell CRT Monitor ... I need to upgrade ^-^

That's really disappointing The majority of people won't have cards that support PhysX just yet, so in the short run creating games with PhysX liquids severely limits who can play your games.

I'm starting to think the PhysX software liquids in the real SDK is just particles with stickyness anyways... so it's not much different

PhysX liquids are just pixel shaded particles with some special features like, as Shiny said, "stickiness"
