The topic says it all.

The game isn't the best there is, but the funny thing is that this project used to take 421 lines! Now it's 16, and still working.
I didn't believe I could make it... but here we are:

Just found a Very Odd bug with it. The systemkeys like esc had stopped responding. Switching everything to keystates and making an extra if for exit fixed that.

Here's The updated source (v0.2)

here's the whole package (source, exe and media) in a self installing .ace package. Only 900+kb.

http://koti.mbnet.fi/lassix/down/C27_build02.exe

Compiled in DBpro 4.1, windowed full screen (800x600). Should be compatible enough... if Not, I can make a Fullscreen Exclusive version too.

oh yeah, controls:
Space to shoot, arrowkeys to turn, q and w to turn&move the camera and esc to quit.

Like it! Like the recoil on the gun and explosion effect (simple but effective)

Cool

I think the gun moves a bit too slow though (It was easy to fix). Maybe you could add a target to see where you are aiming? Other than that, I think it's great.

thanks for the kind reply. The slowness of the turret/bullet is the thing keeping the game hard. But you can fix that easily by altering the code... I think it's there... somewhere.

Remember, all this was part of my First DBc project, ever. It manages to stun me still..

I'll see what I can do about the controls..
