Well I don't have much on my plate for tomorrow, which isn't how i like it. I need to have a little project on the go so im selling my logo design services for who ever can make the best case.

Not sure how much detail you want, but after thinking through it, I am kind of in need of some kind of symbol/logo to represent me + my site.

My site is called One Man Band (http://www.ombsoft.com/blog/) and is also the name I put on apps and games I write.

The reason I would like you to design me a logo, is mainly because it's a fairly difficult name to create a logo for.

The 'obvious' solution would be to have a picture of one of those one man band guys (with all the instruments strapped to them) or something... but besides that, there's little in the way of "substance" in the name - and after seeing the logo for positech, it seems you're fairly good at making logos to fit fairly abstract names etc.

Also, my site is in dire need of some kind of branding, since I lack any kind of visual ID / logo. I'm prepared to pay for the logo within the next week or so (around the $60 mark probably, which isn't much, I know, but it's all I'll have, and it's better than nothing) - not sure if that was 'expected' (you said you were 'selling' your services but I'm not sure whether you actually expected cash or whether you meant this in a more 'abstract' way).

So yeah, that's pretty much my 'case' summed up. Not sure what else to say.

Hey Wehtam,

I would like you to design me a logo (obviously, why else would I be posting?).

My site is called Inspire! Media, you might've been there before, you might not have (I hosted a couple popular FPSC games on there earlier this year).

The site is down at the moment (it has been since March). I am currently waiting to finish a couple things before I put it back up, namely a logo (for when I redesign the site, or pay Dink to), and I was thinking about contacting you about making me a logo anyways.

I would be putting this logo as a splash screen on all of my games, on the website, on installers for various things I will release, in videos, etc, and it would be great to have a really good one. The logo would have to be something that I could animate into something else (or revise as time goes by, kinda how companies like Apple updated their Apple logo over the years).

I have attacked one man band this morning. If i have time i will look at other requests at a later date.

I thought I would paste it directly into the message so people can check them out without being logged in.


To me, one man band is a collaboration of various entities to create a unified whole.

Designs in row 1 are purely typographic, the E, M and A join to create a figure. It’s a playful design which can be faithfully replicated with a single colour, which allows great flexibility in its reproduction.

Designs in row 2 present a lone figure, however his shadow casts the presence of three. It’s a powerful logo with a professional presence.

Designs in row 3 symbolise the hand of creation ( and indeed, the hand that programs ) which is constructed from smaller entities ( members of the team ). The hand is a puzzle which is completed with cooperation.

Designs in row 4 feature an icon symbolising the head and torso of four figures, arms extended. When these four are conjoined they create a perfectly symmetrical, whole entity. Perspective as added to the logo to strengthen the emphasise of speed and direction which is also supplied by the spacious Century Gothic font.

Come on then guys, let’s help him out by picking your favourite!

Amazing work man!

Can I quickly squeeze in and make a case for something I'm looking for (a simple one I hope!)

I'm working on an animated series and right now we're working on a spoof episode of the show based on Jurrasic Park.



I wonder if you could do me a logo in the style of Jurrasic Park logo, with the words: JARVIS PARK and instead of a black silhouette of a dinosaur skeleton, a black arrow as shown in the screenshot above.

I really dig 1-3 and the multicolored coolness of 1-4.

Your talent never ceases to amaze me Wetham. And so everyone knows, when he said he made the original logo for MISoft, it should be noted that all Agent Dink changed about it was the color (and he added our slogan beneath it), hehe. Really professional work, extremely creative, very flexible and willing to work with you hands-on to make logos how you want them to appear... simply put, Wetham's graphic design skills are extraordinary and if you're willing to pay for your logo, there can be only one .

The designs in row 1 present our motion of thought, fuelled by our senses, the final crescendo being the “Eureka!” Moment of a great idea

The designs in row 2 present a typographic piece which links the I, M and ! Into an easily placable insignia

The designs in row 3 are probably the easiest to animate, with the supplied vector file you could rotate the swirls to signify the ideas which churn and multiply when inspiration strikes!

Hey, I know I'm a bit late, so I don't know if you're still up to it, but do you think you could take a shot at making a logo for "Terra Nova Creations"? (Terra Nova means New World in Latin)

Hi Gil, now I know you wanted a globe present in your logo, but from experience you wouldn't want people to think that your a worldwide tranport/deliveries company or a web tech firm.

I think the term Terra Nova is pretty well known so i've gone for more of a symobilic or iconic look. I didn't want a close representation of Earth, instead i opted for something more "universal" which you could have much more fun with.

Wehtam_: Thank you very very much for the logo designs I literally just found the thread again, as I've been tied up with a bunch of exams etc. (sorry I haven't replied + thanked you earlier).

I'll go through each one and see which one I like best. Thanks again

EDIT:
I like them all, but I'm going to say the design on the far right on the second row is my favourite - perhaps with the font of the text changed to that of the one next to it (on the left).

If you want to/if you can change the font to that prior to doing the vectors or larger downloadable image, that'd be cool, although I'm fine to change it myself (obviously depends on the format though). Probably asking a bit much though, considering these are totally free - but they are brilliant. As BigAdd said, I think the quality of this stuff would be easily enough to allow you to sell it etc. online.

Thanks again, and I would be grateful if you could provide the logo in larger downloadable form etc.

Maybe if you ellaborated it a little bit more, somewhat like David r's.
he said what he needed and also other things that go with it, such as his website and other things.

I need a thingy saying Just Die Already, the name of my game.

It needs to be made of red and black.
Black being the main colour and red being blood splater.
It needs a shiny metalic outline so that it is able to stand out from the background.

It must have: An AK 47
K-bar
Something related to zombies
Instant recognition of dark (as in horror)


If you cant think of anything just do Just Die Already with some zombie related thing with a Dark tone

Tatters. You're are a alright guy. But sometimes you think you know everything. But in my time here in TGC, I've helped out many people with Free models and good tips and advice, and you calling me a leacher is annoying as I've done so much for the forums from free signatures to free models. Also, my idea was straight forward, I said to him I want my logo to be simple just "IE" and then his imagination could run wild with the rest which basically gave him free-will to whatever he likes, not me leaching or on what on earth you believe leaching and leachers mean. So before you post think about the logic of the post.

Hey Wehtam_, you convinced me with that last one. I have a request to make as well. Well, actually two, but that'd be greedy so I'll just leave you to choose whether to take one, two or none of these.

* A logo for "tha_rami - Game, Art & Webdesign". If possible, I would love to have it look distinguished, simple and straight-forward. Heh, I might be an art-designer, but my logos really aren't that good - they're a class apart from everything else. If you need any information, my favorite color is blue, my favorite art subject is space, my favorite webdesign style is distinguished, my games usually have something 'special' about them. That's all the info I can give you, besides - possibly, http://www.ramiismail.com/

* A logo for "Untitled", a game magazine focussed on delivering news in a fun, 'cool' and contemporary way. Preferably it would fit over any background, using two high contrast colors at the edge. This one would be best as .svg or other resizable filetype, as it will be resized often to fit a new cover. Untitleds old logo looked like this, but I'm revamping the magazine completely to look a bit slicker. I'd prefer to not see any influences from the old magazine. In the ideal scenario, the logo would fit in a square (same height as width).

So, if you would want to do either of those, I'd be honored - your works are pretty amazing. I live by a 'credit where credit is due'-motto, so whether you like it or not - it'll get you and your website in the credits of the respective item.

Would you be able to create a logo saying "Output Overload Games"? If so, may it be able to have a sci-fi style to it, and not too modernday, if that's OK? BTW your work is excellent, I would never probably be able to rech that level of work. If you still are so helpful and grateful, please my you design one saying "OutBurst Delta Forums"? Yeah, I must admit most people here are pressing him a bit. He's doing a great job, but I think he knows that himself. He's just picking entries as and when he likes, works on them when he likes and completes them if he likes. And that's how it should be.

Thanks for describing my post. I was just saying to Roxas, Patience. So before you say I'm selfish etc. you must understand the logic of my post. We all don't think the same way so, you may take it differently, where I intended to tell Roxas to have some patience.
