After some research, I have a hunch on why AI called the game "Kola"

1. AI was a big fan on Splinter Cell, based on when he posted about Nikoladze and his avatar on his thread, possibly Sam Fisher or one of the ShadowNET operatives,
2. Two of the Splinter Cell missions were located in Kola Peninsula,
3. Or AI had read some Tom Clancy books, especially Red Storm Rising in which the Peninsula was mentioned a lot of times.

And a few of the "weakest" hunch...
4. AI liked the sound.
5. Short enough for people to remember (marketing strategy, however missed the target since people think that Kola is Cola and fluffy cute bears from the land down under...)

Did I mention fluffy cute bears munching on marijuana...err..mentos?
