ok everyone, I have dloaded alot of models off tgc and injoyed them alot. I resontly got milkshape and started modeling, mainly becuse I need to pay all you modelers back. This thread will be for my (not so great but still) models.

please tell me what you think.

sorry it tock so long, had to fix a small glich.


EDIT: when I figer out how to make this fpsc ready, or even a working .x file, it will be free.

Download Wethams Entity maker. Its a good program its in keiths C's Tool list thread...

ok, when you said Wethams Entity maker. did you mean entity workshop? Or is that somthing els. I tryed the entity workshop thing but when I serched for the file it wosnt there?

Oh.. You load up entity workshop load up you model in there and apply texture and export it and it will save it and make it fpsc ready.

You need to have all parts gathered on one texture, otherwise it wont work.

You need to "UV" map it, you cant have a few textures, they dont work.

ok, I just made this gravestone model in like 3 sec's and exported it and put it in entitymaker. Next I painted on a texture and clicked save, it went through some stuff but when I click eather box colison or polycolision. it crashes!? does anyone no whats up?

Ok the error that comes up every time i try and make somthing fpsc ready says: Runtime error 500- unkown image error at line 659.


does anyone have any idea what this means?


EDIT: ok guys I think its a problum with the entitysworkshop thing becuse I cant even get the models that they have already made in there to go. the same error comes up. Ill post agin when problum is solved (or when I find a new one )

YES! YES! YES! I DID IT!!! ok every I finaly fixed it all up here is my 1st ever fpsc ready model, a grave stone. (very simple becuse it was just made as a text) you can use it any way you wont.

Do not use spaces in your mode or texture name, for example "large train.dd", instead: "large_train.dds" Do you get it? I think that shall do it.

Looks awesome for a beginner!
The texture stretches a bit though...and its hard to tell what it made of, if you want to see another grave texture, look at mine in M&M...still really good though.

i can see you are moding, great work for your first try.i think it look really good but the texture is a little off but textures are the hardest part in the whole prosess.
