I tried to make a simple test map with a Square Pool. The pool was made on a cube object, where I sank the middle in using a negative value of 50 on 3ds max 7's extrude tool. After exporting the model as .X I then loaded it into my game.

The problem here is that my character seems to hover over the map. I tested this on another map I made in 3ds max, where all I did was make some hills by moving vertex's around, and it seemed to work fine.

Any suggestions about using the Extrude tool with Newton? I was using the Panda export tool for 3ds max 7 to export as .x .

Oh...see I'm not really a modellor, more of a programmer. Should I do a "flip normals" in the .x exporter then?

Hopefully this will fix the problem though.
