My Jeep Grand Cherokee gets about 13 miles per gallon (It is the 8 cylinder 5.7 litre HEMI). I won't complain though. I needed something that would haul my three kids and also still be able to pull my camper. Even if I wanted to get rid of it, I'd take such a hit on the depreciation (because of the rise in feul costs) that it is hardly worth trading in for the purpose of "saving money".
My other car (that I use to drive back and forth to work everyday) is a nice little Honda Civic.

I have a 95 VW Passat with no AC and I get about 25-35 (sometimes up to 40 after an oil change). SO it costs me about $20 or so dollars a week to commute from school to home.

My father's 1.0L Suzuki Swift gets 45 to the gallon. Every day he drives from Stafford to Birmingham and back at the very least, and he only has to fill it up once a week. And we've had four passengers, three large remote control aircraft and two guitars in it at the same time comfortably. Build quality is... questionable though. It's hard to feel safe in a car the doors of which distort when you lean on them.

I fail at life. No, really.
