WOW! that looks really nice. I loved the first one and the second one looks beter. I think you could increase the polycount on the caves, though. They look a little blocky. Good work.

Excellent - hopefully I should be able to rework the script to cut down those cutscenes, hehe!

I'm not actually a Kiwi, I just randomly thought it up one day.

The intention when I wrote that bit of the script was to make the combat more... consistent.

So, for example, there would more or less be combat throughout, with not many talkie-bits or walk-around bits.

I'm not actually a Kiwi, I just randomly thought it up one day.

We could change it from "part" to "episode" but the first one is already called "part 1".

Nice pic - you're very good at capturing that gritty, slightly tarnished feel of the steampunk world.

right here is a picture of the streets of Neo Venetia the Martian capital It's a real work in progress pic the idea I originally had was for the player to run from one roof to the other but unfortunately this wasn't possible in fpsc the framerate would just fall through the floor also the skybox will be different in the final game anyway I'm just posting this so you all know
the project is still alive

It is a human colony on Mars. A steampunk game; not an alien martian game.

Don't just say No it can't be done. Think outside the box.

Ooh, very steampunky. With a texture that should look very nice.

Hmm, museum... A steam locomotive? A difference engine? http://www.screensite.org/courses/Jbutler/T389/DifferenceEngine.jpg Might be a bit too difficult to model, though... How about an exhibit which has, for example, the King of Mars' shaving mirror, eyeglasses and shoes? The National Army Museum has some personal items belonging to Napolean, so it's not too far-fetched. And maybe a giant globe of Mars being carried on the back of the Prince? Like one of those Atlas statues:
http://www.1worldglobalgifts.com/images/Awards/AtlasAwardLG.gif
And perhaps some symbol of their hatred of the British Empire: maybe the axe that was used to behead Charles I?

Very cool, I just love steampunk stuff, there should be lots of brass, rust and odd but intricate machinery in there.
I look forward to seeing much more of this.
