When i connect my client to my server it times out, it appears the problem is that the client uses too much media for the server to handle, is there a command other than net set option that'll change the default timeout of the server?

Does it timeout during the connection, or during data transfer?

the "timeout error" you get when connecting means most of time that you weren't able to connect
