After learning about fpsc over the years i have finnaly decided to start a project this is my first realgame and all chritisism is welcomed

story:
The year is 2029 an the world is tearing itself apart, and fuel is scarce all countrys stop exporting their goods to other countries and soon the world is left in chaos. China attacks russia because of there great fuel resorces and the world goes into a state of emergency, World War 3. the war then continues 2 years on. All alegences are broken and soon its everyman for himself.
Bigger chemical weapons are being made and as there are untested they are used worldwide soon every country is using and developing these different bombs but they have, contageous side effects. Melting minds and turning everyone into zombies.
the world is evacuated underground and after years of staying down its time to resurface.

you play a part in the =FSS= Bravo (1st surfacing squad Bravo)The second squad to go up. All contact with alpha was lost and now you must uncover their position or their fate while going back up to the surface.

But while navigating through the man-made tunnels you find dead bodies. Alpha squad one by one along the trail and soon as you reach the top, all signal from your com-links disapears and all contact with the base is lost...

yea, the door looks a little misplaced but the story is pretty good as well as the rest of the screen

You could use a gate entity from MP3 and set it to static.

Why does the story line sound like a cross between gears of war and terminator.

(2029 was the main future scene year in the first 2 terminator movies and in gears of war u start out looking for alpha squad)

I like it alot.. but ive been looking at it and I see that from angle #1 the barrles are in shadow and then in angle #2 the barrles are not... haha! this is so Random but I was only curiouse.

But back to the subject! I love the story line... seems pretty odd, I have one more question.
Is this, like a horror game?

Get your facts right. X10 games can be posted here too.

@Who cares anymore

The fact that X10 makes games look so pretty it's hard to think of good criticism. I'd say you need to show us more interesting screens though. So far we've only seen fairly small rooms. Looks great though!

yeah i do agree butt monkey but its in very early process so its quite hard to devolope and im now working on a cut scene btw

i like the story, and the map layout looks pretty good (whered you get those wall entities?)

but something about the lighting bugs me. maybe its just that i think the lights should be tinted to either a more yellow or blue (florescent lights) color. white doesnt seem to give the "horror" atmosphere i think you're looking for.

i am going to use cyan light later on and i will look into trying yellow ones aswell
