Hi,
I just finished 2 trivia games dealing with astronomy that will be given out on Webster's Online dictionary (helping folks learn the basic subject via definitions)

Episode 1 is a dinosaur theme:
Episode 2 is a space theme (still being tweaked for textures/text shadowing):

These run under XP and below. If someone can figure out how to get these to run under Vista, I would love to hear about it. Warning, the files are large. (programmed using VB and 3DGM, Maya, and other 3d packages/plug-ins for the cinematic epilogues, etc.).

Enjoy!
Phil

I downloaded Episode 2 and tried it out. The prologue is nice, but could never get mission 1 to load. The guy said his piece about the screen going black, and it did, but I gave up after about 3 minutes of nothing. Some kind of loading screen would be nice, just so I know if it is actually loading or if it froze.

When I alt tab I notice that there are two instanced of Websters Adventure running, and then a dark basic executable.

My specs:
iMac
XP Pro
4gb RAM
Intel Core Duo 2.xGhz
ATI graphics card of some sort with I believe, 256mb RAM

Phosphoer, Thanks. I will have to check this. We have never had a test on an iMac. It may be that the older version of directx is not supported. You may need to see if your graphics card drivers are updated or can play previous verions of directx. Also, it may be a virus protection that is stopping it, as it is running a .exe file (one per mission), and you need this to be allowed. Phil
