Uhm, since I installed patch 2, many strange things have been going on with my code...
The compiler complains about blank rows, calling them "Unknown commands". The same thing happens with READ FILE, OBJECT SCREEN X, OBJECT SCREEN Y, SWITCH and ENDCASE...

WHY!?!?!?
I didn't steal it!

It sounds like something has gone wrong when installing the patch. Try uninstalling everything, then reinstalling DB Pro and then installing patch 2.

I have the same problem so I followed your advice Mike and
uninstalled/re-installed DBpro then patch2,now the levels I made are screwed up.I have been making bsp stuff and basically whats happening the background is smearing and the camera falls through the level into oblivion, they were ok before re-installation.

BTW I always backup my projects to another harddrive complete with all used media, then after re-installing put them back into DBpro's projects folder.

YOu may have to :

check that DX8.1b isnt changed or slightly broken

Make a new project folder by associating the folder again and the project file.

Can u produce an error message of any sort or describe in detail what it doesnt do.

Did you have any virus software running in case it conflicted at install

What OS and what Vid card do u have m8?

Ok forget the pictures my test bsp level without patch2 applied works just fine, with patch2 applied the camera seems
to drop through the floor, for now I've reverted back.
BTW I also get frame rates of better than 300fps without patch2.

Okey, I tried uninstalling and re-installing everything, but it doesn't work... What else could be the problem?

Yes indeed. Please email me your project with media and I can ensure that no bugs are obstructing the code. It is the only sure fire way of resolving a bug.
