You've running Vista on a laptop, right?

(if so, case open and shut)

Cant you set the resolution to a higher option?
Or, You could... Go to you're desktop, right click>Properties>settings>Screen resolution, and then set it to a higher resolution, depending on what you're resolution currently is.
Also it probably runs it on low because you're Laptop ain't exactly a rig that's suitable. >_>

Some systems I have noticed can run faster at higher resolutions, namely laptops.

Probably using some dodgy driver-level upscaling or something.

ok, it runs same on 800 x 600, it takes 10min to load,

crysis (high): 20fps
far cry 2 (high): 3fps

^^? its supposed to be BETTER

thx

[b]In editor it is about 800 x 600 anyway, and it runs at 40fps!

Why not in game?

PS: 10FPS IN ULTRA XD

Have you checked how high Anti-Antilising and Anti-Filtering are set at?

Sounds like an odd issue I had myself with another game.

Just to make sure I've got this right, you fixed the problem by installing Vista Ultimate and 4gb of RAM?
