Perhaps you should consider telling her if you are friends? Maybe you're the only person she knows that would tell her how she appears to other people because of how she acts. She'll probably hate you for it, but sometimes friends are there to tell people what nobody else would tell them. If I had a friend that had a reputation, depending on circumstances and all that, I could see reasons for letting her know.

Ah, well, you didn't say that...
In that case:
Insult her regularly.
Make offensive remarks about her mother.
Act increasingly violent and aggressive towards inanimate objects.
Scream at the cat to get a job everyday at 4:00 AM.

If all that doesn't work...
Tell her you're gay, and make out with an insane bodybuilder named Frank.

Perhaps. She lives with another old friend of mine (also female). They are close friends and I would guess they share their thoughts with eachother about everything imaginable like all girls do. I have gotten the feeling that they've talked about it before, because they always change the direction of the conversation if things get close. But understandably, it's an uncomfortable subject. And I don't think I have the guts to speak my mind on it face-to-face.

@ Omega Gamer 89

I would have to say that even though your advice are a tad on the extreme side, they will without a doubt work remarkably well.

Quote: "grandma- just let her know you don't feel that way, lets just be friends and enjoy each others company."

The thing is, it's not confirmed what she wants yet. I'm picking up so many signals that they interfere with my central nervous system, but I can't say anything about it before I really know. Or else things will get very wierd.

Yeah, thanks for the advice Jeku, I see why you were made a MOD.

I just want to record it for now so that I can show it to her older sister, see what she thinks of it and whether or not it would be a good idea to sing it to her. Hopefully, it is...if it isn't, I'll just wait for the appropriate time.

@ Grandma:

My first 'girlfriend' (I really shouldn't have ever called her that)
definitely was hinting at....something she wanted. I didn't tell anyone because I handled the situation myself. Actually, she handled it by breaking up with me (over the phone). I was happy and sad at the same time. By the next day, I was perfectly fine with the whole situation. Yeah...so, just tell her how you really feel, and see what happens. Hopefully, it will all work out for the best. Good
luck man!

Pics of Ryan Seacrest eating pudding. lol...

Anyway, I am actually in a similar situation to you, Yodaman Jer. I have a girl that I've liked for a number of years, but she has no idea. I'd come out and tell her, but I'm too afraid of hurting our existing friendship. Its not JUST that I'm afraid, though. Not only is she younger than me, but she is also the sister of one of my friends. Right now, we're pretty good friends, but she has already expressed that she wouldn't want to date me, albeit somewhat jokingly. Once, we were at the park with a few of our friends, and they were teasing us that we were BF and GF, and she was like "Eww! No way!" So I jokingly said "and whats wrong with me?" and she replied "Its just that I've known you forever, you're like a big brother."
That's the other thing, I'm almost 3 years older than her... I know that's a little much, but I believe it is within the acceptable range...
I can't help how I feel, but I know that the chances of us ever ending up together are almost nonexistent.

It really depends on how old you are now, because the older you get, the smaller the gap seems.

Hmm. Well, her older sister says to wait a couple of years, until about 2011. lol. That's about what I expected. I'll be 20 in 2011. Yay..I guess..

So, that gives me plenty of time to become an expert at playing it and singing it on-key.

@Omega Gamer 89:

Your situation sounds familiar, except it's a friend of mine who's having to wait until the girl is legal. He wants to become a Priest, so I have no problem with him. He's the only guy brave enough to carry around the Bible at a Renaissance Faire, lol. He too, has to wait until 2011...

What is it with 2011 all of a sudden? Seriously, wow...the year of love, I guess?

@Yodaman Jer:

Staying her friend now will make things less difficult for you later on. Be her best friend, no girl asks for more than that (Not out loud, anyway). I know from personal experience that should you get into a relationship and she isn't 100% sure about it, you may end up regretting it. And believe me, watching "your girl" date someone else is much less painful when you haven't already had her. Be friends, and if she becomes interested in you, I'm sure she'll let you know somehow.

@Grandma:

Been there, done that. I had a girl that I knew since I was 2 years old. After a long time she started telling me she liked me and wanted to be more than friends.... it was only a few days after that that I found out she slept with my brother the night she said it to me. Haven't spoken to her since I told her exactly what I thought of her.

She may be a ____ but ever since I told her that, I haven't heard of her doing things like that since... in fact, she's married now with kids.

@Omega:

I have been on the opposite side of your problem. My best friend had the hots for my little sister. Needless to say, he didn't tell me about it until I confronted him myself. After a little chat, I told him it was okay with me so long as he didn't do anything stupid. (She's 5 1/2 years younger than him)

My parents knew about it, and kept to themselves, though I knew what they thought of the whole thing.

ANYWAY, long story short, I caught him carrying her up to her room one morning. So, I dragged him back downstairs and pretty much blew up on him. Regardless of my views, they stayed together but ended up breaking it off later on because my sis is just too young to know what she wants and there were PLENTY of guys for her around her own age. My friend is now dating a woman around HIS own age, and she lives roughly 100 miles away. (They've been dating now for over a year)

Moral of the story???

Life sucks, deal with it any way you can and it all comes together in the end.

Well, I'm 19, shes 16. So right now, the gaps seems kinda big.

That's not really an issue in my situation. I don't mean we wouldn't wait for her to turn 18 if we did end up going out, I mean that she's the kind of girl who would probably hold out until she was married, or at least very serious about the relation ship. Even if she were 18 now, and we started dating today, we still wouldn't be doing anything like that for at least a year.

Indeed, well said Plystire,
Quote: "She may be a ____ but ever since I told her that, I haven't heard of her doing things like that since... in fact, she's married now with kids."

Indeed, people change but its best not to have any gripes or hate over anyone, case in point, i found out my most recent missus has cheated on me during a drunken night, found out about 6 hours ago while doing the weekly shop, actually. It was only a two week relationship but i felt could see it going somewhere. Nevermind, live and learn and move on i guess, life is too short to be hung up on someone, hence why you should never let your feelings for one single girl ruin your chances with multiple other girls, you may regret chasing this one girl for years when it doesn't pull through (or you don't pull ou- )

Its not really about patience for me. You only have one first time, (Yes, I'm a virgin.) and I think it should be special. If you just throw it away over someone you've only been with for a few weeks, you'll definitely regret it. I'm fairly certain she would feel the same way, because she is a very "proper" girl.

my first time was nothing special to me, and I don't really regret it. Imo, the "first time" you have with someone you love is an amazing thing regardless of if it's your first time overall. That's how it was in my current relationship, at least.

I respect that mate, mine was a regret, too young and far too naive. I have friends (girl friends)who say they lose their virginity every time they sleep with a new guy, not physically, obviously, but mentally, different way of thinking i suppose (or maybe to ease the pain of being with yet another guy ).

This is why waiting until Marriage is the perfect solution. Just sayin'...

Omega: It may be in your best interest to remain that way (a virgin) until marriage. Wouldn't that be even MORE special? Plus, if she ends up pregnant, it'll be even better than having the child, THEN getting married. Just my opinion. I don't want people to throw away stuff only to find out they they then have AIDS or other horrible diseases. Don't worry about what other guys say. You're only two years older than I. I want to continue talking, but then that would be rambling, so I'm just gonna go away now...

Here's something very important I've learned about writing songs for girls. Don't use their names in them. That way, if things don't pan out, you can tell the next one you wrote it just for her . Saves you a lot of time and effort.

Ask them to cyber-walk with you. Seems like a foolproof plan to me

Anyway, back on topic...I didn't write her name into the song. And the cyber-walk was my way of saying 'hey, I miss hanging out with you.' It worked.
