Hello FPSC fans! You know what? I am going to tell you what my game "Doomed" is going to be like.

Well it is a FPSC game based on Doom 3. There are not going to be many places like Doom 3 because it is the Fps Creator. But the plot is based on Doom 3! Well I will tell you a few stuff my game has.
It has scary sounds, scary zombies, flashlight use, dark areas, violence, and much more! It is going to be a fun game in the highest graphics so you can enjoy the graphics.

O though my stupid nVidia Geforce FX 5200 (not ultra) goes sooooo slow! But you have good computers so it will not go slow.

I forgot to say that my game is going to be available to download on file front when I am finished making it. When I have finished making level 1, 2, and 3, I am going to make a demo of it. Also, I am going to film some gameplay of it and upload it too Youtube.

My user on Youtube is: Funnybun123
So be sure to check it out in a...... well I don't know yet but I will launch a demo in a month or a few weeks, but no more than a month!
See you later!

I love the FPSC! But it goes slow on my stupid computer!

Welcome to the forums of FPSC!

Your game looks kind of basic, but if its one of your first games then I would say its ok.

But you have to split up your text, some poeple wont even bother reading when its so much.
And you write about everything and nothing. You are like that squirrel in "Over the hedge" on coffeine

Good luck!

The screen has no lighting and shows general stock segment with generic stock entities and character. I'm not seeing any doom 3 here... You need to create an atmosphere, freak the player out, but the rest of the level looks the same as that screen that's not going to happen.

Put down a few lightmaps (small range, strategically placed) and drop the ambience. There are plently of guides on here to help you out.

Of course he does, he's just got started on his own game, most of us know that feeling very well. If anyone sounds cocky in this thread though it'd be you; don't start shooting him down for trying to get into the hobby, we all have to start somewhere.

The screen may look pretty basic to some, but it's all a learning process. Make sure to play about with light markers and shadows, Doom3 focused heavily on those. Your idea is pretty good for your first game as FPSC comes with lots of SciFi Media. Experiement and try different placements of entities and room layouts, it will help you get a feel for what you want the game to be like, before you dive into making custom media (it's a big step up, but game design gets a lot better when you start making your own models and textures ).

Keep it going,
Paul

That made no sense, as there were already three people who "let him know".
