Apologies for double post.
Here's the finished small conveyor room. I'm think of placing the foreman's office up on the catwalk level. Wait for more screens. After the foreman's office (where you meet your first enemy who has a Glock in the real demo), I have to add a hall, employee rest area, restrooms, rendezvous area, and a few sound zones, and the environmental demo will be released.
Any questions about what an environmental demo is, are answered below.
1) What is it?
A: As the answer implies, it shows only the
environment of a level, no enemies or objectives. Used as "interactive" screens, if you will.
2) What are they for?
For my uses, they're for light/level geometry testing, bug findings, and suggestions as to where this goes, what needs fixed, etc.
3) Do big-name games use them?
I really don't know, but I can imagine some form of it is used.
