Hey, just thought I'd mention this

It's actually something my brother has been working on. It's pretty cool, actually. He's been blogging about it on his personal blog and just moved it to a public blog for the world's eyes to behold.

His goal is to get at least his thermostat, garage door opener, and his sprinkler system automated and controlled by his iphone. He's got the garage door working, and the other two are almost done.

That is so cool--- this is exactly the same as the idea I had when I got my iphone Looks like your bro implemented it first!
