Hello!
I have never posted in this board before, but lately I have started to do 2D stuff. And I am now applying for a "2D furnituremaking" making
But it seems that I am making too realistic stuff, so could someone please give me some advise on how to make my 2D less detailed but still to keep the quality.
And also on how to improve my 2D.

Here is my armchair, I know that it may be too much black around, and then its in a weird angle.

Attached is a picture in what style my 2D should be in. Does my armchair fit in?

Thanks!

Nice! But you want to try using a 3D model, then adding a cell shader to it, so it gets outlined and "cartoonified"...

You can in FPSC, go onto the TGC store, download the totally White segment, then search Ultimate Shader Pack, got to the thread and download. Open it up, and find the Cartoon shader, not the Toon one. Copy it into your Effectbank, and delete the DBA and DBPRO files, and any images and models....

Apply it to your entity, and take a pic against the totally white, there you are, it looks like it's 2D on a white backgroud now!

Good idea, the problem is that I have to render the model in an exact angle. And then its a lot of work behind only one pic
Does anyone know if Blender supports any kind of shaders?

I would use a really small FOV and render it in DBPro, so with a textured model, and a cartoon shader, you could render all 4 directions in cartoon mode and save out the images for editing later.

It's fairly easy to get an isometric camera in DBPro, if you need some pointers on that just let me know.

Blender supports toon shading. (And outlines if you can handle it)

You need to make the render more isometric, then it'll fit in.

That render is actually taken rigth out of Milkshape, so there is no specific angle or so.

I know, its a good advise. Thanks.
But I just wanted to tell that I just took the pic out of Milkshape since I dont know the specific angle at the moment .
