Hey guys, I haven't posted on the gamecreators website in about six months, but a few of my friends and I are making a 2D RTS sidescrolling game (something like Shadez: Black Operations, but a world domination type game) I was wondering, what would be the best engine to do this on? Frame rate wise, price, ease of use, features, etc. Don't exactly say a Game Creators product just because you're on their website. If you think that their engines are best, that's fine, just give me reasons please.
Alright, see you guys later.

You could always make your own using XNA

yeah I was thinking about that, but I'm not sure if Microsoft would allow me to sell the game to a third party publisher if I made it with XNA.

Hmm? What do you mean by this? I thought XNA can be used freely and risk free like other API's, for the PC ofcourse.

I think you have to purchase a creators license to sell the game to a third-party publisher. However, this also allows you to port your game directly to the Xbox 360, so it would probably be worth the money.

Nope, if its for pc you can just sell it off, if its for 360 then it'd have to be a license.
