They just barely got this going. Usually they get Linux running on every piece of hardware, but this time this is good. As Google's Android is built on Linux, this is the first step of getting Android running on the iPhone. Which would be awesome to have an alternative.

I'm waiting for android to come out on the HTC Touch HD (And apparently there are rumours that this might be the next phone they release):



5mp camera, wifi, 3g, 3.8" screen with a 800x480res (massive!), micro sd slot - beats the iphone is just about every hardware spec. But it's running windows mobile at the moment which is lame...if android does come to this, I'll be getting it right away.
