I just tried to go to yahoo.com and check my mail, but the entire site is down! Its not even a "Temporarily closed for maintenance" thing. Its just gone!
Is anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, it was down for a couple of minutes for some reason... At first I thought maybe my connection to the internet was down, but everything else still worked.
hmm...

It was down for me too.

I though I was going crazy. Someone in our office asked me if our internet was down. So, I opened up IE and got a page not found (my start page is Yahoo!). So, I went and asked a few other people if their internet was down. It was for everyone except for 2 people. I then tried to ping out to Google and got a reply, but still no "Internet Connection". So, I reset our router a couple of times and kept getting the same results. Finally, I tried to go to a site besides Yahoo and things worked. I guess MOST people in my office have Yahoo as their start page! lol
Once I discovered that it was Yahoo that was down, it made me wonder if the Microsoft deal went through

I worked for Yahoo! in a pilot program over the summer, and they might decide to make that program permanent in the future. I hope and pray the Microsoft deal doesn't happen lol, it'll pretty much be the first program they axe if that happens .
