I am Alex, 30 years, live in germany.
I am new to Dark Basic, i buy DBC first to check out, if i like the programming maybe later i buy DBP..but for now i think Classic fits for me.
The main thing i want do in DB are Isometric Style 2d Platform

For the graphics i found 2 great tools, both are free.
I think most of you know them, for the rest i want give the

2. animpixels www.animpixels.com

I also make a first gras tile..is in the attachment,
feel free to use if you like

Has anyone good ideas, where to start learning
about to program a 2d isometric tile engine, collision,...
any tutorials? Of course, have the forum, but one more

greetz, and welcome

you'll find www.GameDev.net has many articles on various gaming genres, including Isometric & Tile-based Games. i've found many informative articles and resources on just about anything i've wanted to learn more about there. while very few (if any) of the tutorials or code examples there are directed at Basic programmers, they are, generally, fully commented and/or explained well. so, it's not too hard to review the articles and code provided and apply the theories and techniques to (Dark) Basic.

hope that helps. good luck!

edit: i want to add that my first choice in researching a particular topic is the search button (bottom left of every (?) page here on the tgc forums (and the Code Base)). the info here is specifically for dark basic (i use pro) which makes it easier to apply to our project(s). anyway. my initial response 'sounded' too much like "oh, if you want info, go somewhere else" and that was not my intent
