Well a few weeks ago, i was informed of a music contest for the Regis and Kelly show. The contest was to create a theme song for the actual show. The winner will get to have his/her song used as the new theme song (of course) and will receive $100,000 along with a a possible record deal.

Anyways, the deadline was December 5th and i entered my song, so hopefully i will win lol

I would appreciate if you guys could listen and tell me what you think

That sounds very nice. Good luck with it.
I wonder what it would sound like at a slightly slower tempo with some strings like violins accompanying the piano.
I guess the faster tempo would suit their show better though, so it sounds great like it is.

Smart move waiting until after the fact to tell us about the contest.
Less competition eh? lol

Let us know the results.

Well, for a solo piano piece it sounds way too "programmed" so to say. You should have tried to humanize it a bit; if not the intervals, then at least the attack velocity of the notes (if available, different samples for the same notes would have added a lot of more life to the composition as well).
If you had had time to add in the other instruments as well, then I guess it could have worked in this state though.
Not to bad a song, and I don't claim to know what the "Regis and Kelly show" is, but I'm afraid it sounds a bit thin for a show theme. And also, not really a fitting genre for such a song at all (not that it wouldn't fit with other things though). But as said, I don't know what that particular show is all about, so maybe it is indeed fitting.
(I'm tired and should probably stop my rambling by now )

@Rudolpho- Yeah, i agree with the programmed thing. I didn't honestly have any time to do anything with it as of note velocities/durations/timings. The contest itself was only about two weeks long, and I found out about it about a week after it had already started. None-the-less, I appreciate your critique haha
Thanks for the comment
