Jw is there a 2d collision dll that uses raycasting? i think raycasting would be great in 2d games vary usefull

Raycasting in 2d? is a joke? the best way for a 2D collision, is use a matrix(X,Y) and reading the cell matrix, is the result is a type as a floor, water, enemy, etc...

example (pseudocode):



this system is very faster... i use this for collision 3D with a type ofheightmaps

ya when i posted this i was moving from 3d(using sparky with raycasting) into 2d and didn't really know arrays and i was trying to use built in collision. but thanks for the example! haha
