Its looking quite alright PMC!
The only thing that jumps to mind is add more entities.
It seems like a relatively larger room, so perhaps larger entities would compliment it better.

More pictures would be great.
Keep it up though man!

Also, add lights at the players height.
Good foundation though.

your framerate is still very high so adding more entities wont hurt. Try to find pictures of actual warehouses and what not to use as guidance. It doesnt have to super-realistic but it helps.

It's always good to know specifically what environment your trying for as well; whether it be a warehouse, military bunker, some form of compound.
With that in mind, it can really help in what should be put in the room, entity wise.
What sort of place were you trying for?

Id say don't suffer from round the edge syndrome. stick some stuff in the center of the room. Too much around the edges and when you come to put enemies in, there'll be nothing to hide behind when you get in a gun fight!

where would be the best place to put enemies, because i noticed they have to load their gun before they can shoot.

I can't remember off the top of my head but you can actually edit the enemy script to stop that happening... I edited them so long ago now that I don't remember what it was... I'll see if I can find what you need to do and post it here for you, or maybe some nice forumer who knows will post before I find it

@ puppy of kosh: Congrats man!

@PMCDude: If its maintenance tunnels and/or sewers, you might find adding more pipes along walls and the cieling would really add to the room a lot.
Keep at it man, doing great

Is that not in the guide? (I'm not being funny here, it's just been a long time since I read the guide from front to back) If it isn't I'll add it when you find the solution.

What script are you using, if you use shoot10.fpi he doesn't reload before he shoots. I have the script attached if you need it. Place it in the shoot part of the properties.

I use imageshack, but I see some people do it other ways.

Thats your pic above. I just took the address of your img, which is "http://forum.thegamecreators.com/xt/xt_apollo_pic.php?i=1658653"

and put [IMG] tags around it. so it would be like this:

You need to make the room ALOT smaller. Surprisingly lightmaps are actually there to LIGHT things. Make the room smaller, cramp everything together and have the light actually falling on something.

Add the Bay doors, and shelves from Model Pack three, which you appear to have. Set every piece of scenery to static, it's better for framerate and more-often-than-not it looks better too...

Add in small, static cardboard boxes, and align them with the shelves to make it look like they've been put on them, rotate each one slightly to make it look more realistic. Go to www.fpsfree.com and www.fps-files.com to get more free stuff. Download all of it...

Something that would also help: put guardrails on the sides of the platforms and stairs. Its a service tunnel and we wouldn't want workes falling off would we?

That electric box you had worked well, so I'd say try to find more similar industrial type entities that you can place in different places. Maybe some metal support beams on the walls too. Service tunnels and those sort of places are usually smaller and narrow so it might be a good idea to make the rooms smaller. Not only will it be more realistic, but you can then also put a lot more entities and decorate the rooms better.

Hope it helps
