Wasn't the DarkPhysics competion for games?
Just in-case you weren't sure, I was talking more along the lines of a CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Simulator.
I do to a degree understand the basics of how to get something that works real-time via Shaders to do basic CFD, as I've done it for some smoke and water tech demos in the past.
However I'm trying to find something a bit more in-depth than what I've previously done. On I found on SourceForge (OpenFOAM) is good, but having the simulation realtime isn't quite as necessary as more accurate data.
I did find this
website on the subject, which covers a good number of calculations for a few different aspect; althought there is no information on propulsion aspects. The ones I found on SourceForge also do not cover that, I also couldn't find information on the thermal dynamics of resistance forces.
