Hi,
I have a sound file but it is recorded in stero, how can I convert it to a mono sound file? I need it so I can use it as a 3D sound.

I thought I might be able to do it in audacity but either you cant or I cant work out how to? Does anyone know how to do this in audacity or another program that will do it for free?

I figured it out

Just do split stereo to tracks, then use the drop down list and change to mono for both tracks
