When I'm not creating games, I'm a filmmaker and for my latest project, I need a female to be the voice-over. I though perhaps if there were any women on here with decent microphones, they might like to audition.

You are to voice a computer, so there will be post-processing done but I'd like to do that from an original 'genuine' source, not a text-to-speech synth. This work is unpaid...but it's only 5 lines.

The voice should be English or American and should always sound friendly and informative, though not patronising.

The dialogue:
"Good Morning, Sir"

"Voice-Print Identification please"

"Verifying"

"Verified"

"Welcome to the USC Network"

There's probably some little kids on here that sound like girls. I hear those squeaky voices on vent all the time.

Could you use an audio effect to fake a female voice over your own?

Avenging Eagle, I think Rick Vanner mentioned the site they use for voiceover work at last years convention. I believe it was called Voice123. Give that a try
