Loading Bars can have a big effect on the presentation of your game. Specifically first impressions.

This site is fantastic - it contains tons of great, pretty, and inventive loading bars that play for you in a gallery. I got some great ideas!

Was pretty zippy for me.

Cool find!

I've always liked the idea of having mini-games running when things are loading like the old Ridge Racer games by Namco.
