Looks very nice! Only critism is ,that is it hard to model that side mirror? Because now it looks a bit flat.

Looks nice! Too bad it looks so much nicer in the render than in FPSC. It looks almost too long ingame...

Sorry Henry, but if there's one thing I hate it's mirroring on large objects. Mirroring is fine on small objects, or small detail on large objects..

djmaster the poly count is 1908 polys nearly half of that is wheels
dont think i can cut it down without losing some of the shape but feel free to put me right .

you could shave a few off on the roof, and theres a few improperties on the polygons they cant end randomly like /= they must go like =/= so they connect into one point that goes on or like <=

It doesn't look defined enough. It's just like a big blob with wheels, make the edges sharper.

I think it has more than enough definition, which the texture will prove. I sure wish I could do that!

Best.

the definition is just fine the car has a smooth shape with no sharp edges so why would i need to put them in .its a common mistake beginners make to leave sharp edges on a model (i know i have done it myself )but you should make sure you setup your smoothing groups ,then let the texture do the rest .

Henry,

Is it just an illusion, or is the hood much more glossy than the rest? If you're using PhotoShop or similar program, try a plastic wrap effect perhaps?

It looks great.

Well, I'm not really a beginner and this is what I mean. I feel a little insulted, I try to give constructive crit and instead of taking it you just tell me I'm a beginner.

Excellent work. It's a pity FPSC can't render your models like 3ds max does.

@Darimc:
Yes, but the Peugeot 206 has always been a little of a bubble car. There are a few sharper edges, but it's nothing a decent normal map won't sort out.

Sorry, I took it the wrong way. And thanks to AE, I see what the real car looks like, it is a weird shape. Your model is actually pretty accurate. Good job.

Very nice indeed. How hard would it be to make a wagon version, maybe with roof racks? Just for the sake of diversity.

Ah nice! I also use the same method. Its very easy, with some nice end-results.

But i have to say that the peugeot is using some unused polygons.
Which could have been easily deleted. Therefore reducing the polycount a bit.

Excellent work Henry. The time you've invested in these is very apparent, and a testement to others of what to strive for when they approach modeling and texturing.
