Hey guys, this is my latest and greatest *uncompleted* electronic song, take a listen! C&C welcomed. I'd really like to know how I can improve it.

It's titled "Just Weird". People keep telling me it could be a song in a firefighter game. You'll know why if you listen.

I don't know if this was intended to be for a game or if he's just showing it off, which would make it ok here.

Well, if you mods think it should be moved, can you please do it for me? I hope it can stay here though; the music board doesn't get much traffic and I just want to see what people think of my song!

Edit:

Oh and thanks for telling me guys.

It would get traffic if people used it...
But if everyone is like you, they would post it everywhere but the music board, and you can probably see then why you're not helping.

As for the song, it was pretty trippy. I'm getting some mixed signals from the song though. I'm not sure what it's supposed to express. There's one melody, but it sounds like 2 different themes at times.

True, but in the end there are still going to be much fewer viewers in the music board then in the geek culture board.

I'm not sure what you mean; are you saying that the general feeling of the song varies throughout the track?

I'm saying that you have a "chillbeat" thing going on, and later that beat is abscent and replaced with something more dark. I just didn't feel that they fit togheter in the same song. I do the same thing because I try to vary my songs, but I often end up with 3 songs in one for some reason.

Hmpf. You are just the reason why I've got five or so uncommented songs on the music board. I won't dignify your work by listening to it unless you move over and join the rest of us unseen composers.

Well, as that obviously won't have any impact on you, I'll give you a small review here still:
The song is indeed "Just weird". Still, it had some nice parts. The sounds volume envelopes did almost (pretty precisely not) overlap too much though. Also you really need to mix away some sounds; the middle part just sounded chaostic (allthough still decently decernable, I'd say mix it up and it would be a lot better). The whole thing seemed on the brink to distortion as well; maybe lower the master level a bit?
But yes, weird it was, but kind of cool. And here is the thing that I feel I've said to all beginners over at the music board; where's the ending?

Edit: Oh, it was unfinished; didn't read the whole thing too carefully before posting.
