Okay, I'm trying to get this printer to work. It's an HP Deskjet F4200 "All-in-One series." Previously there was an epson printer installed. The problem is that whenever the Print Spooler service gets activated an error pops up saying the Print Spooler Subsystem App had to close (send error report/don't send error report). The error doesn't pop up right away, it pops up after about 5-10 seconds (maybe longer). Between that time, if I try to print something (when it is running, but before the error occurs) I get a "print queue full" message. I'm trying to fix this for a friend, but I'm unable to do so. I'm about to attempt to completely uninstall it, and reinstall it (the printer/drivers), but I think it's something a little less "dramatic" so to speak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, btw, I did troubleshoot. There was no problem like this one listed.

Quote: "Is it plugged in?"

yes.

Quote: "Is it turned on?"

yes.

Quote: "Come on, someone had to be a prick."

I could respond in the same way, but I'm actually asking for help here.

After doing some more testing the printer spooler service it self is simply crashing (rather or not the drivers for this printer are installed, the service continuously crashes and has to be restarted. Any advice?

Cheers,
