Sigh, it has nothing to do with downloads or Firefox, aren't you idiots reading? It spreads through a buffer overflow in the TCP system meaning ANY connection can carry the worm.

I admit, I am a little nervous since the virus may not be activated until days or months later...

Maybe I'll read up on the symptoms and start watching out. It doesn't hurt to be too careful.

Apparently, the only way to have the "symptoms" is to have the virus already on your computer.

See McAfee.com for more info.

And if you can't see it...run for the hills! You're infected. Sorry.

That's what they WANT you to think...

If you can see that website, does that mean you aren´t infected? Because I can see it.

Looks like a re-branded version of Firefox. It even has the same skin, download manager, and everything. And I highly doubt it's the fastest web browser.

Yeah, then when this is all over, you'll wish you had a real computer again.

Correct. The Conficker virus blocks connection to security sites, such as Mcafee's.

Well duh, ever since the entire world heard about Conficker a few days ago, no one will be falling for it since it's well known already. Get with the times man.

I'm fairly confident that that is the GREATEST graph I have even allowed my eyes to behold.

I'm pretty sure hiding the logout address in a link gets you put back on post approval (or banned?), from what I remember Rich saying on the subject last.

For now....

Lol, true that!! Although I really would like a Mac for video editing, maybe running with BootCamp (or whatever it is) so that I can run Windows and still make 3D games. If that would work...

It's worth looking into.
